[Resolve - Penobscot Indians]

Resolve respecting the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, was read 1st time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading

[Bill - districting]

Bill to divide the State into districts for the choice of Representatives &c &c came again from the Senate with a further amendment by substituting a new second section, for concurrence - The House so far reconsidered all their former votes as to concur with the Senate

Adjourned until 1/2 past two oclock this afternoon.

Bill additional to an act to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, spars & other timber in certain cases, was read a 3d time, amended by striking out the 3d & inserting two new sections as on paper K. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Maine Manufacturing Company. was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Mr Williams by leave of the House, laid on the table, Resolve, respecting Libleys Bridge, which was read & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report - Wills & Testaments]

Report of Committee on the subject of revising the Law respecting, wills and testaments & regulating the descent of intestate estates, that no alteration is necessary at the present time, was read & accepted.
