[Bill - fining towns &c]

Bill imposing fines on towns neglecting to choose Representatives, which passed this House 10th inst. came from the Senate - that body refusing it a passage - The House concurred.

[Resolve - enacted]

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve in favor of the Penobscot Indians - for obtaining a loan of $ 20"000 - on the pay roll of the Senate - on the pay roll of the House of Representatives which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report of Committee to present address to Gov. for removal of James M. Rogers &c]

The joint committee appointed to wait upon the Governor & Council and to present the Address of both branches of the Legislature for the removal of James M Rogers from every civil & military office he holds under this State, reported, that they had performed the service assigned them, & that the governor was pleased to say the subject should receive all the consideration it importance demanded and the Constitution required - The report, read in the Senate, was sent down - In the House it was read & Sent up.

Mr Elden from the Committee to wait on the Governor & inform him the Legislature had passed upon all the public business &c &c, reported that they had attended to the duty assigned them and that the Governor would immediately make a communication by the Secretary of State.
