Report on the statement of the administrator of Joseph C Boyd late Treasurer, that the same is just, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

Bill to prevent the destruction of Fish called Salmon, Alewives on Dennys River & Winnegance in the County of Washington was read a 1st & 2d time & Wednesday next at 10' oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to incorporate the Portland White Mountain Stage Company was read 1st & 2d time & Wednesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Fairbanks & Dunlap with such as the House may join a committee to take into consideration the laws relative to the Inspection of Butter - & the House concurred & Messrs Shaw, Sanborn & White of Monmouth were joined.
