[Conference - on Militia Bill -]

a committee of Conference on their part on the Bill additional to the act to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State - & sent down the papers. The House on their part appointed Messrs Russell, Chase of L. & Parlin.

[Bill - endorsement of Writs]

Bill respecting the endorsement of writs, reported in a new draft was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed as in new draft. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - public lands -]

Bill to promote the sale & settlement of the public lands, came from the Senate with sundry amendments for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Bill - County Estimates - lately a Resolve - see page 161 -]

Bill on the subject the County Estimates, came from the Senate with a certificate endorsed thereon that they adhere to their amendment to the Bill and appoint Messrs [ ] conferees on their part - The House - appointed on their part Messrs Isaac Adams Cobb & Ruggles.

Resolve providing for the education of the deaf & dumb, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in a new draft. Sent up for concurrence.
