Report on petition of the Selectmen of Chesterville, granting an order of notice - was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee - Hawkers & Pedlars &c]

On motion of Mr Coolidge, Ordered that Messrs Coolidge, Chase & McCobb be a committee to enquire what further provisions are necessary to secure the public against Hawkers, Pedlars and Petty Chapmen, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed.

[Remonstrances]

Remonstrances of the Selectmen of Kittery against the petition of James Paul & als for the erection of a Bridge - of the Selectmen of the town of Kennebunk against the petition of Simon Nowell & als - were, read and referred to the committee on turnpikes, bridges and Canals. Sent up for concurrence.
