The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment, and agreeably to assignment proceed to ballot for the choice of a Chaplain, the Committee appointed to receive, sort and count the votes reported that the whole number of votes was 12 necessary to constitute an election - 7 and that Reverend Elijah Kellogg had 8 Reverend Ichabod Nichols - 2 and Reverend Russel Streeter 2 Rev. Elijah Kellogg was then declared duly elected
