9. Moved at 9ok.A.m. Passed through Darnestown and encamped about a mile and a half beyond that place in position, our Division being on the right of Smith. The 1221st N.Y.V. Col. Frauchot was today assigned to Gen Slocum and attached to the 2nd. Brigade. Sent letters this morning to Portland and Biddeford.
