Order of Notice was granted on the petition of Elijah Grover & others - accepted - Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of William Jameson & others mill owners at Upper Stillwater to be incorporated was read & referred to the committee on Manufactures. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr. Steward of Anson, Ordered, That the joint standing committee on State Roads be instructed to inquire into the expediency of making an appropriation to pay the contingent expenses for the survey of a road from this place to some convenient point on the highlands in a direction to Quebec - Provided the United States Government shall at their own expense the ensuing summer furnish the services of Engineers to survey said road, Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - to increase the Capital Stock of the Cumberland Steam Navigation Company, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of John H Hartwell & others resident in the village of Augusta praying to be incorporated with certain municipal powers, was read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act additional requiring the use of Broad rimmed Wheels in the town of Hallowell in certain cases was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
