-ring the petition of J.B. Cross & others to a joint select committee & refer the same in concurrence with the Senate to the committee on Agriculture.

The House recede from their vote of 4th inst. granting leave to withdraw on the petition of Alexander Reed & concur the Senate in referring the subject to the committee on the Judiciary.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - An Act to incorporate the Franklin Manufacturing Company which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr. Woodbury of Minot, Ordered, That the Committee to enquire into the expediency of passing a law for the destruction of Wolves, Bears, Wildcats and Loup Cerviers be instructed to inquire into the expediency of passing a law encouraging the destruction of Crows. Sent up for concurrence.

An order came from the Senate instructing the committee on State Lands to inquire into the expediency of appropriating a sum of money to make the road laid out by Silas Barnard Esquire leading from Weeks Mills in Brighton to Moosehead Lake, provided that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will appropriate the sum of ______ and individuals the sum of _____ for the accomplishment of said object.
