Resolve in favor of the town of Liberty, came from the Senate recommitted for concurrence, and the House concurred.

The House resumed the consideration of the Bill entitled "An Act regulating attachments on real estate" and on motion of Mr Jewett of Portland the same as amended, was ordered to be laid on the table and 300 copies printed for the use of the members.

Resolve for making a road from Weeks Mills in Brighton to Moose Head Lake, was reported by the committee to whom the same was referred on the 17th inst with a statement of facts accompanied by a communication from the Land Agent, and on Motion of Mr Dumont of Hallowell 400 copies were ordered to be printed for the use of the members and the Resolve act, to be laid on the table.

Mr Small of Machiasport has leave of absence after Wednesday next for the remainder of the session.

On motion of Mr Morrill of Limerick

  Ordered, That the committee on the Judiciary be instructed to consider the expediency of allowing to the Treasurer of State extra pay for clerk hire. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of James Jackman for remuneration for services rendered the State, was read and referred to the committee on claims. Sent up for concurrence.
