14 tested by the Clerks of these towns, and were severally rejected by your Committee.

 The return from North Berwick in the County of York was signed by but one of the Selectmen of said town and was therefore rejected by your Committee.
 Lincoln and Chester in the County of Penobscot, were not made to the Office of Secretary of State thirty days prior to the first Wednesday of January as the Constitution requires, and were therefore rejected by your Committee:

On motion of Mr Talbot Ordered[underlined] that Messers. Talbot, Merrow and Latham be a Committee, with such as the House may join, to wait on Robert P Dunlap[name is underlined] and inform him, that he had elected by the People[underlined] Governor[underlined] of the State[underlined] of Maine[underlined] for the current political year, and that the two Houses of the Legislation are ready to convene in the Representatives Hall, that in their presence, he may take and subscribe the oaths of office required by the Constitution.

Read and passed. Sent down for concurrence.
