Thursday, January 21st 1836.

Petition of the Brunswick Company, praying for alteration of Charter, - read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

A communication was received from James L. Child, Clerk of the Board of Internal Improvements for the State of Maine, transmitting the Report of the doings of said Board, since its organization, together with the plans and estimates referred to therein, - read and referred to the Committee on Canals and Rail Roads. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

A message was received from the Governor communicating the Report of the Commissioners appointed to examine the doings and transactions of the several incorporated Banks in this State. On motion of Mr Merrow, ordered, that 500 copies of said Report be printed for the use of the Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

A communication was received from John A. Chandler, Clerk of the Judicial Courts for Kennebec County, in relation to Convictions for Capital offences in said County since 1823. - read and refferred to the Committee that have that subject under consideration. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
