On motion by Mr Holmes of Alfred Ordered That the Committee on the State Prison be instructed to inquire into expediency of providing for the appointment of a Committee on repair to Thomaston and examine into the concerns of the State Prison. Sent up for concurrence

Report of the Commissioners relating to the State Prison and Report of the Inspectors of the State Prison - were referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on the State Prison.

Ordered in concurrence with the Senate on Petition of Joshua Patterson and others - - of Daniel H Wiggins & others that the petitioners have leave to withdraw
