Petition of John Blunt and others to be incorporated into a Benevolent Society was read and referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

Petition of town of Philips for alteration of Law relating to the School funds in that town was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

On motion of Mr. Jewett of Portland Ordered that the Committee on Finance be directed to apportion the State Tax to the towns of Williamsburg and Barnard in the proportion of forty six per centum to the former and fifty four per centum to the latter for such sum as would otherwise be apportioned to the town of Williamsburg read and passed

The House reconsider their vote of yesterday whereby they referred to the next Legislature in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate Report on Petition of Inhabitants of Chandlers Gore and the Clerk by message informed the Senate thereof requesting concurrance [concurrence] and a return of the papers and the Senate returned the same in concurrance [concurrence] by message
