Dear Governor, as making an apologies (unknown Writing) a (unknown Writing) info of wrong, I shall not trouble you with any, when I ask your attention to the office of Judge of Probation as it is now filled in Somerset.
I take it to be considered that when a large majority of the citizens wish for the removal of any public officer and there is no earthly reason for his firing retained except his bring an incumbent a change may be safely made to say the least.
that this is the state of Judge McSollasis(?) case, I have not a single doubt.
Should yourself (?) then or able council think proper to make a change in this department. I can say that Warren (unknown Writing) Esquire will much the approbation of as large a proportion of our citizens as any man a (unknown Writing) us as (unknown Writing).
His personal and legal qualifications being person (unknown Writing) will known to you, need no community from now.
