219 came from the Senate with an amendment for concurrence and the House adopted the proposed amendments and passed the Bill to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill to incorporate the Franklin Bank was called up and amendment by striking out the word "Franklin wherever it occurs in the Bill and inserting in lieu thereof the word "Eastern" and then the Bill was laid upon the table.

Bill to incorporate the Portland Thread Committee was read 1st and 2nd time and Saturday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve relative to the doings of the County Commissioners for the County of Washington, was read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

On motion of Mr Chase of Sebec, the House reconsidered their vote of yesterday postponing the further consideration of the Bill to incorporate the City Bank, till the first day of July next and then the Bill was ordered to be laid on the table.
