Order from the House of Representatives, appointing a Joint Select Committee of one from each County on the part of the House, consisting of Messrs, Potter, McIntyre, Soule, Rollins, Noyes, Lippincott, McMillan, Cole, Adams and Boardman with such as the Senate may join, to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law, relative to criminal prosecutions, as that each County shall pay the costs arising in such prosecutions at the terms of the Judicial courts in each County. Also that the respective Counties shall be entitled to receive and retain to their own use all fines, forfeitures and costs accruing in criminal prosecutions within said counties. The Senate nonconcur with the House in their reference and refer the same to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
