Order from the House of Representatives, requesting the Committee on Agriculture to inquire into the expediency of providing some remedy against the frauds practiced, in screwing and vending hay - read and passed in concurrence.

On motion of Mr McIntire, Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary be directed to inquire into the expediency of repealing the 7th Section of an "Act additional to an Act regulating Judicial process and proceedings passed March 21, 1835 - and establish the fees of Justices of the Peace as they were before that was passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Jewett, Ordered, that no petition of a private nature be received by the Legislature from and after the fourth fay of March next. Sent down for concurrence.

The Joint Select Committee to which, was referred an order of the 8th instant relative to holding two session a day, reported that the Legislature hold two sessions a day, commencing at nine o'clock A.M. and two o'clock P.M. from and after the first day of March and until the end of the present session - read and accepted in concurrence.
