Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of requiring by law presiding Officers in our City, town and plantation meetings held on the second Monday of September annually, to read to the Electors on the opening of said meeting the third section of an Act entitled "an additional Act regulating elections" passed March 1831. - read and passed in concurrence.

Petition of the Trustees of Foxcroft Academy, praying for a grant of land or money - read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
