Bill authorizing the erection of a Bridge across Muddy River (reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, on petition of William White and others.) -"- to incorporate Dead River Company (reported by the same Committee, on petition of Charles Dolbier and others,) -"- enlarging the powers of Constables in the town of Calais (introduced in the House) Resolve in favor of Edsil Grover (introduced in the House) severally read once and this day at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill additional to an Act respecting wills, testaments and regulating the descent of intestate estates and to limit the liability of the husband for the debts of the wife, contracted before marriage (in new draft) -"- exempting Fishing Boats from attachment (reported in the House on an order relative to that subject) -"- to incorporate the proprietors of the Merrymeeting Bridge (reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, on petition of Joseph Sewall and others) Resolve in favor of Israel Chadbourne (introduced in the House by Mr. Holmes) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to regulate the sale of Oats came up from the House further amended. The Senate nonconcur with the House in the proposed amendment, and adhere to their vote of the sixth instant whereby they passed the same to be engrossed as amended.
