313. Friday, March 20, 1835.

Resolve in favor of Titcomb Belgrade Academy (reported by the Committee on Literary Institutions on petition of the Trustees of Titcomb Belgrade Academy) came up indefinitely postponed; and the question of indefinite postponement, in concurrence with the House, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Bartlett, Brown, Chandler, Fish, Latham, Miller, McIntire, McLellan, Read and Tobin, 11. Nays. Messrs. Barnard, Burnham, Clark, Emmons, Greene, Mantor, Pierce, Prescott, and Purinton, 9.

Resolve in favor of Lewiston Academy (reported in the House by the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, on an order relative to making appropriations for said Academy) -"- in favor of Anson Academy (reported by the same Committee on petition of the Trustees of Anson Academy) severally came up indefinitely postponed. The Senate nonconcur the House in the indefinite postponement of the same, and refer the said Resolves to next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolve in favor of Alfred Academy (reported by the same Committee on an order relative to making appropriations for said Academy) read once and indefinitely postponed, in concurrence.
