Bill for the further regulation of the State Prison (reported in the House by the Committee on the State Prison, on an order relative to prohibiting the Warden of State Prison from entering into trade on commerce) was read once and the same, on motion of Mr. Fish, was laid upon the table.

Bill respecting the Maine State Company (introduced in the House) was read once and the same on motion of Mr. Frye was laid upon the table.

Ordered, on motion of Mr. Latham, that whom the Senate do "adjourn till half past two o'clock in the afternoon; and that that shall be the time of adjournment till otherwise ordered --- And the Senate accordingly
