Mr. Fish, from the Committee of Conference on the part of the Senate on the disagreeing votes of the two Branches of the Legislature on the "Bill additional respecting Bridges," reported that the Conferees did not agree, and recommended amendments as on sheet marked A, which were adopted and said Bill passed to be engrossed as amended. Send down for concurrence

Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Bank of Cumberland in Portland came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their votes passing the same to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.

Petition of Amos M. Roberts and other praying to be incorporated as the Penobscot River Rail Road Company - read and referred to the next Legislature, Send down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of the Mr. Jewett, Ordered, that the Secretary of State be directed to publish forthwith in all the newspapers authorized to publish the public laws, "An Act to prohibit Agencies for Banks out of the State, private Banking, and to regulate Banks and Banking." Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Order from the House of Representatives, directing that all the surveys and estimates made under the direction of the Board of Internal Improvement and communicated to the Legislature be deposited in the office of the Secretary of State - read and passed in concurrence.
