Bill to incorporate the Hampden and Carmel Canal and Rail Road Company (reported in the House by the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals on petition of John Fuller and others) -"- more effectually to suppress Houses of Ill Fame (reported by Mr. Jarvis from the Committee on the Judiciary, on petition of the Overseers of the Poor of the City of Portland) -"- concerning Stud Horses and Jacks (reported in the House by the Select Committee to which was referred and order relative to a tax on Stud Horses) -"- allowing additional pay to the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Count (laid on the table by Mr. Fish) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill additional relative to Stone Lime and Lime casks was read the second time and passes to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to make valid certain doing of the first parish in the town of Fryburg, -"- to set off George Hussey from Falmouth and annex him to Westbrook, Resolve for the distribution of the Field Tents belonging to the State, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.
