Gray of Penobscot of Capt Trasks Co (E) 14th Me Reg. claims to be absent on Furlough of four days from Augusta. says before he could get back the Reg had left and he thought he need not go back. says he will report himself at Augusta immediately. is a stout able bodied man and says he is perfectly well - he has no papers only a verbal leave. Amasa S Condon of Orland claims to be absent by reason of Discharge: a corporal of (Co) E Sixth Me Reg. Discharge dated Philadelphia July 16 1862 "by reason of Surgeon Certificate of Disability by order of Brig Gen Montgomery and signed "J R Freese A.A.A.G." health pretty good.
