General Orders Head Quarters Boston 25 Jan'y, 1813 The General Court Martial whereof Major General Joseph Whiton is President appointed for the trial of Major Joseph Loring, Junior upon the Complaint of Brigadier General Arnold Welles of the third Brigade and first Division of the Militia, having sat and tried the said Major Joseph Loring Jun'r upon the Charges contained in the said Complaint have adjudged him Guilty thereof, and thereupon passed sentence upon him, that he be removed from office, and that he be disqualified for and incapable of holding any Military Office under this Commonwealth for the term of five years -- The Commander in Chief, having seen and fully considered the proceeding judgment and sentence of the Court approves thereof and orders that the same be carried into effect -- The General Court Martial whereof Major General Joseph Whiton is President is dissolved.
