again much to the disgust of every body. But we are very well situated here in a pleasant camp. and the weather is delightful -- some nights rather cold but the days are like an Indian Summer in Maine.
We have Brigade drills
nearly every day now.
I had six recruits a few
days ago - Among them Tim Knight - So in drilling my company instructing recruits attending Brigade drill attending to other Co. duties going on pickets I am rather busy- I go on as Regimental officer of the Day about once in
