[Committee to invite the clergymen of Portland to act as Chaplains]
Ordered that Messrs Hammond of Elliot, Leach of Raymond and Cobb of Durham be a committee to wait on the several ordained ministers of the Gospel in the town of Portland and request their attendance upon this House as Chaplains, during the present session in rotation according to seniority.

Ordered that Messrs Hutchins, Burr & Lewis be a committee to contract with some suitable person to perform the duties of messenger & Page to this House the present session. Read & passed.
