Remonstrances of town of Boothbay } - of town of Whitefield } - of town of Harpswell } - of town of Bristol } - of Converse Lilly & others } all against a division of the County of Lincoln & the erection of a new County - were severally read & referred to the last mentioned committee who have under consideration the petition of George Rogers & others - Sent up for concurrence -

Resolve, relating to the printing for the State, was read as engrossed & finally passed.

[election of Wm. Vance]

The Committee on elections, to whom was referred sundry remonstrances against the election of William Vance, returned as a Representative, reported that he is entitled to hold his seat in this House, - on motion the report was ordered to lie upon the table.
