Leave of absence for one week was granted John Perley

[Bill - incorp. North Salem]

Bill to incorporate the town of North Salem, came from the Senate, with amendments and on motion was referred to Messrs Fletchers, Abbot & Small.

[Education of Youth]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee to whom was referred the petition of John Hilton & others, to consider the expediency of making amendments in the law providing for the education of youth - and the House concurred.

[Resolve - Bangor Bank]

Resolve appointing a committee to enquire into the doings of the Bangor Bank, having been duly engrossed, was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Truxton]

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send to this House the Bill, incorporating the town of Truxton with the accompanying papers, which were under consideration the last session. Read & passed. The papers came down and were on motion referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence

[Committee - instructed - Indians - Agriculture]

Ordered that the committee who have under consideration the petition of Otis Lincoln & others Selectmen of Eastport & Perry relative to the Passamaquoddy tribe of Indians be instructed to take into consideration the expediency of adopting
