An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring the petition of Samuel Cony Adjutant General for an allowance for Clerk hire paid by him the year past, to Messrs OBrien & Wilson with such &c & - the house concurred and Messrs Nowell, Dunlap & McCobb were joined.

Bill, an additional act directing the method of laying out and making provision for the repair & amendment of Highways taken from the files of the Senate of last year together with the accompanying papers, was referred to Messrs Cobb, Hammond & Whitney

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring the petition of Samuel Davis of Harrington to be annexed to Steuben to the Committee on the incorporation of towns - and the House concurred.

The committee on the petition of George Halliburton & others of Frankfort, to be annexed to Penobscot, reported leave to withdraw - report accepted.
