ANGUS O. CAMPBELL, SANGERVILLE.
T
HE Scotchman musing on the Scotsman's name In "Angus," finds an echoing syllable of "harne." He scents the heather-bloom that Davy BaHour trod And sees the lowlands sweeping to the ocean broad. Add "Campbell" to the name! And full and sweet It rounds itseH to Scotian melody complete.
This Campbell lives to-day in Sangerville, And fashions woolens in a modern mill. To ways of industry and the constructive arts He adds the talents of a man of parts; And finds the time in interludes sedate To serve his district as a counsellor of state; And faithful to his trust, has thus expressed The purpose of a man who does his best.
