Mr. Stebbins from the same Committee, on the petition of Pelatiah Haley and others for the establishing of a Registry of Deeds at Topsham in the County on Lincoln, reported an order that the Petitioners serve the several Towns in the County of Lincoln, with an attested copy of their petition and order thereon, fourteen days before the second Wednesday of February next; and also publish the same three weeks successively in the "Eastern Angus", that all persons interested may then appear and show cause, if any they have, why the prayer of said petition should not be granted.
