The committee to consider the expediency of amending the law regulating the meeting of Selectmen & of Classed districts to count the cotes given in for a Representative, reported a Bill - report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence & the House concurred.

[Report - limitation of actions]

The committee on the subject of amending the act" for the limitation of actions real & personal & writs of error" reported a reference of the subject to the next Legislature. The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve authorizing the Governor to open a road through the states land in the County of Washington, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on Sunday petitions relative to a new County, granting leave to withdraw came from the Senate for concurrence referred to Messrd Usher & Steele with such as the House may join - and the House concurred Messrs Watson, Pierce & Clark of Wilton were joined.
