Bill to incorporate the Casco Bank, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
[Bill - highways]
Bill additional to an act directing the method of laying out & making provision for the repair & amendment of Highways - laid on the table by Mr Fitch on leave obtained for that purpose, was read once & referred to Messrs Fitch of Baldwin, Sweat & Wood.
[Bill - endorsement of writs]
Bill respecting the endorsement of Writs, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
[Committee - Inholders &]
The committee appointed on the 11th inst. to consider if any alterations are necessary, respecting inholders, retailers &c reported a Bill - report accepted.
[Bill - regulation of Inholders &c]
Bill additional to an act for the regulation of inholders, Retailers & common Victuallers, was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.
[Committee - expenses of Courts in Counties to be returned]
Ordered that Messrs Richardson, Hobbs & Clark of Strong be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of devising some methods by which an account of the various expenses of Courts incurred in the several Counties shall be rendered to the Legislature - read & passed.
[Committee on Tenessee Resolution resolutions requested to report forthwith]
Ordered that the joint committee who have under consideration the Tenessee resolutions, communicated to this House by the Governor, be requested to report forthwith read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
