[Resolve - Military appropriation]

Resolve making appropriation for Military purposes - was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Adjourned until afternoon at 3 oclock.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bills - additional to an act for the relief of Poor debtors - to incorporate the Saco & Ossipee Log navigation Company - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence -

The same committee reported as duly engrossed - Resolves - in addition to a Resolve apportioning the Representatives on the several Counties, Towns, Plantations & classes on 1st apportionment - for the payment of the engrossing Clerks & others persons - granting compensation to the Chaplains of the Senate & House Representatives - providing for a State arsenal - making an appropriation for State Printing - in favor of Herbert T Moore - additional to a Resolve for the payment of accounts agst the State - in favor of the Messengers of the Legislature & certain other persons - making appropriations for military purposes - in favor of Charles C. Carleton - were severally finally passed

Bill to incorporate the Saco & Ossipee Log Navigation Company came from the Senate amended for concurrence - and the House concurred. [This entry should have been entered as the first entry this afternoon.]

[Report of Conferees on Resolve relating to erection of Court House in Lincoln]

The conferees on the part of the House on the subject of the difference of the two Houses, on the Resolve relating to the erection of a Court House in Lincoln County, reported that they had met the Conferees on the part of the Senate & agreed to recommend to the House to adhere to their own vote - & have left the papers - Read & accepted.
