[Bill - Hawkers, Pedlars &c] Bill to repeal part of an act against Hawkers, Pedlars & Petty Chapman, was read a 3d time & on motion referred to the next Legislature.

Mr Chase gave notice that at 10' oclock tomorrow he should move a reconsideration of the last vote.

[Bill - authorizing S.J.C. to lay out Highways &c &c]

Bill authorizing the S.J. Court to lay out or alter public Highways in certain cases, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - fishery in Boothbay -]

Bill repealing an act to regulate the taking of fish called alewives in the town of Boothbay in the County of Lincoln, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill Augusta & Bangor Stage Comp.]

Bill to incorporate the Augusta & Bangor Stage Company was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - Oriental Star Lodge -]

Bill to incorporate Oriental Star Lodge, was read a 1st & 2 & 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report - State tax altered &c]

The committee on finance made a second Report, recommending an addition to the tax already voted to be raised of $ 14 " 79 - also a change in the valuation of Washington & Somerset Counties & also in the valuation of the towns of Hartland, Athens & St Albans - The report was accepted.
