Order from the Senate that the Secretary of State be directed to notify Nathaniel Clark, Allen H. Cobb, Hezekiah Prince, Alfred Pierce, Samuel P. Strickland, William B. Webber and Charles Peavy that they been duly Elected by a joint ballot of the Senate and House of Representatives in convention assembled, Councillors to advise the Governor in the Executive department for the current political year and request their immediate attendance - came down for concurrence and the House concurred - sent up.

The Committee on contested Elections made a report in the case of Moses Shaw, which on motion of Mr Clark of Hallowell was laid upon the table and 300 copies thereof ordered be printed.
