The House resumed the consideration of the order moved yesterday by Mr. Hill of New Portland and passed the same, and Messrs. Hill of New Portland, Holmes of Alfred, Shaw of Wiscasset, Cobb of New Gloucester, & Abbott of Vassalboro were appointed on part of House.

The Committee on petition of Portland & Cape Elizabeth Coal & Rail Road Company, reported a reference of the same to the Committee on the Judiciary, and the report was accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an Act in addition to an act providing for th appointment of a Public Administrators and enlarging the powers of Judges of Probate was read a third time & on motion of Mr. Washburn from Livermore, referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An Act concerning mortgages and pledges of personal property & property subject to any lien created by law was taken up and amended by striking out the third section and adding to the second section as on sheet annexed marked B. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an Act for the preservation and to regulate the taking of fish in Crooked River between Songo Pond, in the town of Albany, in the county of Oxford, inclusive, and Sebago Pond, was read a third time and passage refused. Sent up for concurrence.

Henry J. Warren, Representative elect from the town of Pownal, appeared, presented his credentials, was qualified and took his seat as a member of this House.

Resolve in favor of Dominicus Libby was read a 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
