130 third reading

On motion by Mr Potter of Augusta

 Ordered, That seven copies of Lieut. Col Longs Report of Reconnaissance for a Rail Road from Quebec to the Atlantic waters be distributed to each other and member of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives - to the Treasurer and Secretary of State - Adjutant General and Land Agent, and that the balance of the copies ordered to be printed by order of the two Houses be placed in the office of the Secretary of State to be distributed in such manner as the Governor and Council shall from time to time direct. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve providing for the appointment of a Public Agent to superintend certain expenditures, was read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve authorizing the constructing of a Stone staging on the State lot north of the State House - was read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Bill An Act to incorporate the Maine Scythe and Shovel Manufacturing Company was read 1st and 2nd time tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Resolve additional to a Resolve in favor of certain officers and soldiers of the Revolutionary war and the widows of the deceased officers and soldiers approved March 17, 1835, was read twice and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve to pay the expenses of certain Indians of the Penobscot tribe, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
