Resolve in relation to an Arsenal of Construction to be established at Augusta, laid on the table by Mr Holems of Alfred, was read and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
Bill An Act to incorporate the Frontier Bank - An Act to incorporate the Lafayette Bank - - An Act to incorporate the Agricultural Bank. - An Act to increase the Capital Stock of the York Bank were severally read 1st and 2nd time and Thursday next at ten oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.
Resolve for the purchase of a National Flag for the use of the State - - in favor of Elias Cobb - were severally read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.
The Committee to whom was referred an Order "to contract with some suitable person to do the State printing for the current political year," reported that they had contracted with William R Smith and George Robinson of Augusta to perform said printing and the report was accepted in concurrence.
Bill An Act to incorporate the Molechunkamunk Stuice Company was read once and recommitted in concurrence.
Report on Bill to incorporate the Vassalboro and Sidney Dam Company, referring the same to the next Legislature was read and accepted in concurrence.
