30. [upper left corner] Petition of William Randall & others (laid upon the table yesterday) was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, & Canals Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The list of unfinished business, referred from the last to the present Legislature, (laid upon the table by the Secretary on Friday last) was taken up and referred to the appropriate Committees as follows, to wit; Petition of the town of Philips to be constituted a Board of Trustees to manage the School Funds in said town; " of Rufus Sewall and others, " of Inhabitants of town of Jackson for repeal of the license laws, " of John W. Smith and others for same; " of Selectmen of Hartland for an alteration of Resolve authorizing County Commissioners to aid said town in building a road; " of Freeman Bradford & others for the incor- poration of a Mutual Life Insurance Company; Report on order relative to altering a Resolve providing for the promulgation of the laws of the state; " respecting Salaries for the officers of Regis- ters of Deeds, County Attorneys and County Treasurers; " on an order relative to new valuation for 1835; Bill to repeal and "Act establishing the duties to be paid by certain officers therein named, " and an "Act establishing the duties to be paid by Attorneys"; " additional respecting the attachment of real estate on [?] process;
