190 Petition of John Blunt and others to be incorporated into a Benevolent Society was read and referred to the Committee on Literary Institutions - sent up for concurrence

Petition of town of Phillips for alteration of Law relating to the School funds in that town was read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary - sent up for concurrence On motion of Mr. Jewett of Portland

Ordered that the Committee on Finance be directed to apportion the State Tax to the towns of Williamsburg and Barnard in the proportions of forty six per centum to the former and fifty four per centum to the latter for such sum as would otherwise be apportioned to the town of Williamsburg - read and passed
