The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Bills An act authorizing the County Commissioners for the County of Kennebec to lay out a Road over Eastern River

An act for the preservation of the Floating Bridge in the town of Dexter

which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as truly engrossed Resolves authorizing the apportionment and distribution of the School Fund - relative to doings of the County Commissioners for the County of Washington which were severally finally passed. Sent for concurrence.

Petition of Warren Hathorne for remuneration for postage, was read and referred to the committee on Claims. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to set off a tract of land from Lewiston to Greene, was called up and the vote of 21st inst recommitting the same reconsidered and the subject referred to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

The Committee on Accounts reported Roll No16 in part and "Resolve for the payment of Accounts against the State', which was read once and Saturday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 2nd reading.
