103 Thursday, January 29, 1835

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed,

Bill relative to the safe keeping of persons lunatic or furiously mad; Bill additional to increase the Salary of the Register of Probate in the County of Penobscot Bill in addition to an Act incorporating the Hallowell Ferry Company Bill to incorporate the town of Edinburg; Bill to incorporate the town of Enfield; Bill to incorporate the town of Passadumkeag; Bill to annex part of the territory north of Albion in the County of Kennebec to said town; Bill to annex certain land belonging to Jonas Jordan to the town of Raymond, and the same were severally passed to be Enacted The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed Resolve in favor of Israel Davis and Jacob M. Russell and the same was finally passed. Remonstrance of John Mulliken and others, Remonstrance of D. M. Smiley and others against the establishment of a Municipal Court in Hallowell, severally read and referred to the Select Committee that have that subject under consideration. Petition of Trustees of Waterville College for pecuniary aid read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, in concurrence
