Petition of Commissioners of Lincoln County for an alteration of the law relative to a Municipal Court in the town of Bath -- read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Simeon Matthews and others to be incorporated by the name of "Waterville Liberal Institute" -- read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, in concurrence.

Petition of Joseph Soccobasin, an Indian of the Penobscot tribe, praying for a tract of land to be conveyed to him and his brother Francis Soccobasin -- read and referred to the Committee on State Lands. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
