Bill altering an Act entitled an Act concerning Pounds, Beasts impounded and stray Beasts came up from the House committed to the Committee on the Judiciary - read and committed in concurrence.

Resolve respecting the Shire town of the County of Hancock came up from the House further amended, and the same on motion of Mr. Benson was laid on the table.

On motion of Mr. Talbot, The Senate reconsider their vote of the 20th instant passing to be engrossed "Bill to incorporate the Machias Water power and Mill Dam Company" and the same was amended by striking out the word "Dam" in the title and other places in the Bill to make it correspond with the same. And said Bill was further amended by adding a new section; and the same was laid on the table on motion of Mr. Benson.
