337. and regulating the descent of Intestate Estates, " regulating costs in the Judicial Courts in certain cases and reducing the fees of Clerks of the Judicial Courts, " to incorporate the Trustees of the Smith Female Seminary, " to repeal certain Acts authorizing the Indian Agent to sell timber standing on lands belonging to the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, " additional to prevent the destruction of fish in Dennys River and Penmaquan, " establishing the standard weight of Potatos, " to incorporate the third parish in Bath, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.

On motion of Mr. Emmons, Ordered, that the Secretary of the Senate be directed in making up the Pay Roll of Senate to make up to Samuel Eaton, Messenger of the Senate Four Dollars and Fifty Cents per day in full for his services and all Assistants -- read and passed.

On motion of Mr. F. Greene, Ordered, that the Secretary of the Senate be directed to make up the daily pay of the Hon. James Mantor from the day the Secretary was directed to notify him of his election as a member of the Senate -- read and passed.

On motion of Mr. Emmons, Ordered, that the Secretary of the Senate be made up on the Pay Roll thirty days as a compensation for filing the papers and completing the Journal of the present session -- read and passed.
