Bill to incorporate the Ellsworth Bank came up -- the House, insisting on their vote refusing said Bill a passage, propose a Conference and appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs. Parris of Buckfield, Eastman of Strong and Fifield of Deer Isle. The Senate concur in the proposition for a Conference, and appoint as Conferees Messr Fish, Benson and Merrow.

A message was received informing the Senate that the House had reconsidered their vote passing to be engrossed Bill to incorporate the "Globe Bank" [underlined] and amended the same by striking out the word, "Eastport" in 6th Section, 5th line and inserting in lieu thereof the word Bangor, and ordered said Bill to be reengrossed as thus amended. The Senate reconsider their vote whereby they passed the same to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and order the same reengossed as thus amended in concurrence.

Bill to change the name of Bloomfield came up from the House referred to the next Legislature. The Senate adhere to their former vote to postpone the same indefinitely. Sent down for concurrence.
