Mat according to adjournment.

Report an Bill providing for the election of County Commissioners referred from the last to the present Legislature, that the same ought not to pass was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve for the purchase of a Library, came from the Senate, amended for concurrence and the House passed the Resolve in concurrence.

Bill - An Act to authorize the first congregational Parish in the town of Kittery to sell parsonage lands was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - to alter and define the criminal Jurisdiction of the Judicial Courts, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an Act to incorporate the Waldo Fire and Marine Insurance Company, was read 1st & 2d time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

On motion by Wart of Falmouth Ordered, That the Committee on Literature &c be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering or amending the third section of an act passed, March 11, 1834 to provide for the instruction of Youth. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of John Anderson & others for a reduction of the Toll of Back Cove Bridge, was read & referred to the Committee on Roads & Bridges. Sent up for concurrence.
